AEGEE - Skopje is local antenna of the AEGEE network, formed in 1993. AEGEE is an abbreviation for European Students Forum. It's location is on the Law Faculty in Skopje, University of Cyrillus and Methodius - Skopje.

- AEGEE is an abbreviation for Association des Etats Generaux des Etudiants de l’Europe – European Students Forum. AEGEE has got its name according to the names of places where democracy began – the Aegean Sea and the first parliament in the French revolution, Les Etats Generrax.

AEGEE is one of the biggest interdisciplinary organizations in Europe. It is present in 256 Universities in 40 European countries and it includes 17 000 members.

AEGEE is a non- government organization (NGO), apolitical, and nonprofit secular organization.

AEGEE promotes united Europe. It forges towards international cooperation, communication and integration among students and creating an open and tolerant society.
- AEGEE is European and does not function on a separate national level. It entirely relays on local groups called antennas. This structure aims to wipe out the existing mental borders among students of whole Europe.
- Official languages in AEGEE are English and French as well as the local language in every antenna (here Macedonian).
- The organization is coordinated by the European Council of directors in Brussels named Comite Directeur (CD).
- AEGEE has four main activities: University education, Exchange of culture, Peace and Stability, Active citizens.
- AEGEE promotes activities in different areas of expertise through Working Groups. Among others are the existing working groups: University education, East – West relations, Cultural exchange, International politics, Human rights, Public Relations end others.
- AEGEE organizes many conferences covering different topics such as: ”Peace and stability”, “Borderless Europe”, “Fast food society “ e.t.c. (For example in the year 2000, 286 conferences and Summer Universities were organized in the AEGEE net.)
- AEGEE enjoys the support of the European Commission. It has a consulting status in the Council of Europe and the United Nations also It is a member of the European Youth Forum and cooperates with UNESCO.
- The members of AEGEE believe in their work. In return they gain personal satisfaction and participate in the current events. Here we can feel, learn and react as true European citizen.

AEGEE-Skopje was pronounced as one of the ten antennas which are the guiding force of AEGEE Europe for the period 1995-1999.
AEGEE-Skopje is publishing (every second month) the magazine Europe - No borders no limits. The magazine is also pronounced for "the best European student publication in AEGEE Network" (1994 and 2000/2001).
In the current year, AEGEE Skopje has worked out some ambitious projects which core is the most noble ideas for human understanding, positive and transparent thoughts, love and tolerance. In spite of extremely ambitious, enthusiastic approach, motivation and the good will of our members-students, future moving power of Macedonia and Europe, we must point out another important segment, and that is positive attitude towards media and potential sponsors and friends of the European ideas for more human world and better life for everyone and all. Building bridges with them means building ways to a better thought, world, clearer light and better world for all. AEGEE is walking towards this world, our motto is:
“Some call it Europe, we call it home”
